Great river spots and trail head for Trampas Lake/Peak.
This is a great area, especially if you're looking to head to Trampas Lakes or Hidden Lake. It's dispersed camping and, as such, doesn't have much. A couple of sites have a picnic table but that's about it. The beauty of it is the remoteness and Rio Trampas gurgling nearby.
This site is down in a valley, so don't expect views. You're hemmed in by mountains all around.
